I made this dip and it was great! However, I did have to make some alterations to it; I added some spicy taco seasoning and some chipotle in adobo sauce (deseeded). The crowd loved it! I made it the morning of and it was great by the afternoon. A definite remake! Just try to jazz it up!

I feel the recipe needs a little more zing! I agree with one of the other reviewers, I would add some taco seasoning next time!

I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD MAKE THIS WITH FRESH BEANS AND DICED TOMATOES AND NOT CANNED?

Great dip!! Served it serveral times this summer. I use two 8 oz. packages of cream cheese blended with half packet of taco seasoning. Top with 1 can drained black beans and drained Rotel. Make sure you drain these well before adding.

This tasted much better than I thought it would. I used whipped cream cheese and added taco seasoning to it. I made two pans of it along with Tostito's Scoops for a gathering and let's just say there was none left! Will most certainly make again!

I made this for a work party and it was such a hit! Everyone asked for the recipe. I added a little taco seasoning and a little juice from the rotel tomatoes to the cream cheese--Delicious!!! This will definitely be added to my appetizer rotation!!!

Ah-MAY-zing! Absolutely fantastic! I was dead set against eating this because I hate beans, and the idea of eating them cold made it even worse...but one bite and I've never looked back! Everybody who's tried this just devours it, even the skeptics like me! I follow the recipe exactly, just use more shredded cheese. I usually make this in a disposable pie tin with a lid for parties, or I make it in two disposable loaf pans for individual servings at home (just split the recipe in two and use half in each pan). I also serve it with Frito Scoops chips, those are definitely the best flavor for this recipe. You will NOT be disappointed! And seriously...it takes 5 minutes to make. Trust me, I have a hard time boiling water and even I can do this! ;-)
