What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup cold milk

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

1-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

NILLA Wafers, coarsely broken

cup sliced fresh strawberries

1/2

cup strawberry ice cream topping

Make It

MAKE THE FILLING:

BEAT cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry pudding mix; beat 2 min. Stir in COOL WHIP, wafers and berries. Swirl in ice cream topping.

SERVE IT YOUR WAY!

PIE: Spread filling into 6-oz. OREO Pie Crust. Freeze 6 hours or until firm. Garnish with additional berries, if desired. Makes 8 servings.

MINI PIES: Spoon filling into 12 cupcake liners. Freeze 4 hours. Remove paper linings. Garnish desserts with additional berries, if desired. Makes 12 servings.

WAFFLE BOWLS: Freeze filling 6 hours or until firm. Let stand 15 min. before scooping into waffle bowls. Makes 8 servings.

How to Thaw COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

The best way to thaw frozen COOL WHIP Whipped Topping is in its container in the refrigerator. Depending on the size tub you have, the thawing time varies. Recommended thawing times are: 8-oz. tub - 4 hours; 12-oz. tub - 5 hours; 16-oz. tub - 6 hours. We DO NOT recommend thawing COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the microwave.

Storing COOL WHIP

Keep a tub of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the freezer to use as an easy dessert topping, as a last-minute frosting for cakes or for spooning over cut-up fresh fruit. Once thawed, the whipped topping should be refrigerated and used within 2 weeks. For longer storage, COOL WHIP Whipped Topping can be re-frozen up to five times.

THIS RECIPE WAS SO DELECTABLE. IT WASNT SUPER SWEET, IT WAS PERFECT. IT TASTE LIKE A STRAWBERRY SHORT CAKE OR STRAWBERRY CHEESE CAKE. I WOULD ALSO TRY USING DIFFERENT FLAVORS, LIKE CHOCOLATE PUDDING MIX MIXED WITH SWIRLS OF CARAMEL AND BROWNIE PIECES...(YUM!)

Way too sweet! I think maybe there's too much strawberry syrup. Also, when I added the syrup the whole thing turned pink. I might try it again with more fresh strawberries and much less strawberry syrup. It also needs to be thawed our before it's served.

This recipe is quick and easy and absolutely delicious!! I made this last year for the holidays and going to make it again!! When I made it last year, it was gone w/in a half hour!!

I made it with 10 oreos (instead of nilla wafers) and strawberry jam (instead of icecream topping) and it is delicious! I put an oreo in the bottom of each cupcake paper and topped it with the cream freeze-it's like individual little tarts! I highly recommend trying it this way for a spin on the recipe (or if you don't have the nilla wafers like I did!).

I AM A COOK AT A DAYCARE. I LOVE TO MAKE TREATS FOR THE STAFF. I MADE THIS RECIPE USING JUMBO WAFFLE CONES. I HAD TO CUT OUT A CARDBOARD BOX TO HOLD THEM WHILE THEY FROZE. THE TURNED OUT AWESOME. I USED STRAWBERRY PRESERVES INSTEAD OF SUNDAE SYRUP.
