Snowball Cake

Snowball Cake recipe
A grown-up version of the classic lunchbox treat, this cake will bring back memories and bring up the question we all had as kids: how did the cream filling get in there?

I took this to a Christmas party last night. It was a huge hit! I added 4 Tablespoons of sugar instead of 2 and a splash of vanilla to the filling after reading the reviews. Next time I will make the batter in a separate bowl and then add it to the greased Pyrex bowl to bake it since the top of the cake stuck to the bottom of the bowl! I pieced it together and everything worked out well!
Very easy to make. Make sure to use a medium bowl to get more height in your cake. Other than that comes out just like the video. I just made this tonight and it was a success. Too bad we can't post pics because mine came out just like the video and I'm so happy.
Made this with only change being, I added 3T more sugar to the filling. Still too much cheese taste for me. It came out great looking and friends were impressed...Next one, I will substitute coffee for water and make filling using Kahlua and cream cheese.
Kids loved it. Looks impressive and not alot of work. They licked the plate clean!!
I do love this recipe. It's easy and delicious!
Not sure if I have oven-proof bowl for baking but recipe seems simple enough even for me.! Will try it real soon.
This is a great idea for Christmas, this is the only once a year I enjoy baking with the family and friends.
I make this for all the holidays...easy to make, and quite wonderful. For St. Patty Day I dyed everything green, for Easter multi colored pastels,4th of July striped red, white and blue....use your imagination. It makes quite an impression and I am asked to bring it everywhere.
Great cake! It turned out just like the picture! I made the batter in a separate bowl, and poured it into the baking bowl. It did stick a bit, so I would recommend spaying it first. I also added some vanilla to the filling and icing as another reviewer recommended. I refridgerated the cake for an hr before frosting. The cake and icing set nicely! Great recipe! Thanks Kraft!
I make this cake all during the year and everyone just loves it. I make different flavors, different sizes. People love this cake. Thanks for the recipe
