What You Need

cups penne pasta, uncooked

1/4

cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing, divided

small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)

cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

1/2

tsp. each garlic powder and black pepper

oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

cups grape tomatoes

1/2

cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

fresh basil leaves, cut into strips

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, heat 2 Tbsp. dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cover. Cook 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (165ºF). Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm. Carefully wipe out skillet with paper towel.

ADD remaining dressing, broth and seasonings to skillet; cook 3 to 4 min. or until heated through. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until melted. Stir in tomatoes; cook 3 min.

DRAIN pasta. Add to ingredients in skillet with Parmesan and basil; mix well. Serve topped with chicken.

I didn't have the suggested dressing on hand so I used Greek dressing. Also added frozen green beans when the pasta was almost done. I grilled then chopped up the chicken and mixed everything together. It was awesome and I would definitely make it again!

Family LOVED it! It will be going in my recipe box as a "keeper". 1 difference is I used sun-dried tomatoes (cut up) instead of grape tomatoes.

Very good. Next time I will use onion & chive cream chees & probably add a handful of quick cooking french string beans. With a salad & bread sticks recipe served 6 (including 4 teens)

This was awesome. I doubled on the Neufchatel Cheese and the chicken broth as I hate dried out pasta. Cut of the chicken and added it. Both my 13 yrs old loved it. Easy to make.

I have made this and the very similar bow tie pasta with shrimp multiple times - even last minute for unexpected guests. It is my favorite recipe. I have yet to find anyone who does not love it. At times I have added some fresh minced garlic or used the herb and garlic cooking cream - always fast, easy and delicious!

My family LOVED this recipe! One question I always ask after we try a new recipe is, "what would you change?", and not one suggestion! I did add fresh mushrooms and served the chicken chunked and in the pasta. I am definitely putting this in my recipe book!!
