I made these for Easter and my family raved about them (my family is not the type to say something just to appease someone either). I was surprised to read all the negative reviews regarding these cupcakes, as I didn’t run into any of these problems. I did as another reviewer mentioned and only used 1 tbsp of each color per liner. I used a vanilla cake mix instead of the plain white mix thinking that would make a ‘richer’ cupcake and I am glad I did. I think next time I make this recipe I am going to use pudding mixes and see what happens.

Very fun to make. Jello made the cake so flavorful. Can change colors for different occasions. Made for a bake sale and put sprinkles on top.

did not turn out, what a waste of time. I will never make them again.

Made this for Easter and everyone loved it! I didn't want the added calories of the jello so I just put food coloring in bowls and added the cake mix.

These are very good, I used Black Cherry, Grape and Blue Rasberry jellos, they were pretty and very tasty.

This is a fun and delicious cupcake to make. We also like it frosted with cool whip.

I made these cupcakes for Easter and they were a big hit! They are very sweet, so instead of frosting, I topped each one with a tablespoon of Cool Whip and a small portion of fresh strawberry. Because the jello flavor is so intense, if I make them again, I would use less than the 1/4 cup jello suggested (per bowl). The total batter is about 36 oz, so each bowl of batter is about 1 1/2 cups. The kids really enjoyed them, along with all of us adults with a sweet tooth!

My son loved this reciepe!! It was a huge hit at Easter dinner. Used Iced Pineapple, Orange and strawberry jello. I was afraid it was too sweet, but everyone loved them! Defanatly will make this one again!!

I was disappointed in the results of this recipe. The cupcakes came out very rubbery and the flavor of each color was very strong. I would like to try them again but would only add enough jello to make the color or use food coloring.

Terrible. The cupcakes stuck to the greased muffin tin. Ruined my tin. THEN I made another batch...and put the batter in the cupcake liners this time. Cupcakes stuck to the cupcake liners. Waste of time, $ & energy.
