What You Need

cups fresh strawberries, divided

1-1/2

cups boiling water

pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Gelatin, any red flavor

Ice cubes

cup cold water

pkg. (12 oz.) prepared pound cake, cut into 10 slices

cups blueberries, divided

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It

SLICE 1 cup strawberries; cut remaining strawberries in half.

ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 2 cups. Add to gelatin; stir until ice is melted. Refrigerate 5 min. or until slightly thickened. Meanwhile, cover bottom of 13x9-inch dish with cake slices. Add sliced strawberries and 1 cup blueberries to thickened gelatin; stir gently. Spoon over cake.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until firm. Cover with COOL WHIP. Arrange strawberry halves on COOL WHIP for stripes of flag and remaining blueberries for stars.

Prepare as directed with fat-free pound cake and COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.

Substitute

Prepare using JELL-O Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin.

Wave Your Flag Cheesecake

Layer cake and fruited gelatin in dish as directed. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Beat 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) softened PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese and 1/4 cup sugar with whisk or mixer until well blended; gently stir in COOL WHIP. Spread over gelatin layer. Continue as directed.

Made this for a 4th of July work potluck and everyone LOVED it! First of all they loved the festive display. Then they loved the taste. So many great comments and compliments and it is so easy to make.

This recipe looks like a nice refreshing dessert after you enjoyed a hearty meal. I will try this recipe, but will substitute angel food cake for the pound cake. It's another way of saving calories in addition to using lite cool whip and sugar free jello.

I MADE THIS RECIPE LAST NIGHT WITH STRAWBERRIES AND BANANAS AND IT WAS SOOO GOOD!! EVERYONE LOVED IT! I WILL BE MAKING IT WITH BLUBERRIES FOR 4TH OF JULY. THANKS SO MUCH KRAFT FOR THIS RECIPE

This was okay however, I did not enjoy the video as much as the holiday videos you have had on here in the past year. What happened? Not as visually relevant and appealing.

My husband is diabetic so I substituted sugar free angel food cake, sugar free Jello, and sugar free cool whip and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it and went back for seconds. So easy and festive!
