Cannot tell you how many times I have made this recipe and got RAVE after RAVE on it. I usually use frozen green beans and just follow the recipe. The frozen green beans cook to just the right tenderness.

this is a great recipe. bacon goes wonderfully with the green beans and tomatoes. loved this dish. but wish that there was a faster way to cook the green beans, that was the only thing that wasn't too great - took a long time to steam.

I've made these beans several times for my family and friends. It is an excellent recipe to wow the crowd and it is sooo simple.

I took A Dbl. recipe to Church on New Years Eve. And they went FAST. I used frozen gr.beans&canned tom.I can't wait to try fresh,when in season.

Wonderful for a dish to take out when made with frozen beans and canned tomatoes it cuts cooking time.

At first, I was somewhat reluctant. But this recipe turned out lip-smakin' good! Since I have a very busy schedule, I used 1 bag of frozen green beans and a can of diced tomatoes, and it worked out great! I will be using this recipe for when we have dinner at church and other functions.
