Triple-Layer Mud Pie

This player is created by Blackwell Team for testing.

What could be better than mud pie? Three layers of it. Dense chocolate and pecans topped with creamy pudding and COOL WHIP satisfy the tallest dessert order.

I was hesitant to make this because it looked too easy to be decadent. However, I had very little time and needed to take desert to a get-together. This was amazing. It as as easy as it looks, and was very creamy and chocolately. Had requests for the recipe, and would definitely make this again.

Umm- I thought I died after taking the first bite of this pie. Unbelievable. I didn't have any pudding packs so I just used the Jell-O pudding that I had in the fridge (you know the ones that come pre-made in the individual cups?). I was definitely hard to get out the pan, but that didn't stop us. We (my husband and I) just brought the whole pan into the living room and ate it.

WOW! What a creamy pie - chocolate, cool whip and pecans - what more could you want?

delicious but the picture is misleading in that there is about half of the first layer and twice the 2nd layer that is shown.

Flavor is delicious, but it's a HASSLE to make! First, the pie crust completely fell apart as I spread the first chocolate layer. Second, the box size of the pudding mix (3.9oz) does not exist. I have found 3.4oz or 5.9oz boxes of Jello Instant Pudding mix. It is just a complete mess to deal with the thick chocolate and sticky condensed milk. And it's an even worse mess trying to slice and serve the pie!

Made this recipe last night and got rave reviews from DH. I left out the nuts since he's not a big fan. It was difficult to get out of the pan but was so good that it didn't matter.

This recipe is so easy to make and was enjoyed by all. Per request again, I am making it for the Christmas festivities.

The directions were jumbled and when I followed the steps, it would have you go back before. It was sort of hard to follow, but it was an easy fix. I wouldn't recommend this recipe or make it again.

Made this for Thanksgiving. It was the most eaten dessert at the table! Everyone loved it! I will definitely make this for Christmas and other occasions as well. It was absolutely delicious.

I made this for Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure if I would like it because I'm not a big "pudding person". But let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I will make this again! It was especially a hit with the kids at the gathering. I know people will be asking me to make it again very soon!
