Our daughter's boss brought this dessert last spring for our family during a crisis We didn't have very good appetites but the pretty color was tempting. It was cool, creamy, sweet & salty. After one taste everyone had to get more. It disappeared quicky.

Very good recipe; makes a huge 9x13 amount. I think next time I'll half the recipe, but it was delicious!

Delicious!! Mine wasn't quite as pretty as the picture, it was a little lumpy on top....but delicious nonetheless.

i wish i would have read the previous comment because i used the frozen strawberries method and waited for it to jell overnight and it did not. i have to out and get another dessert for the party i am going to. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ If preparing the frozen strawberry variation, be sure to use frozen berries that are loose in a bag, not berries packed in syrup. >>>

I used frozen strawberries, but I prepared it just as you would for fresh ones. i.e. I let the jello set for about 2 hours before mixing in the cut, thawed strawberries. It worked out pretty good, except the jello layer kept wanting to slide off when I served it.
