I am concerned that you would suggest stuffing a turkey. Although people do it all the time, it is not the safest thing to do. It is safer to cook the dressing separate from the turkey. In addition to being safer, it will cut down the cooking time.

This was the BEST stuffing recipe. I used sweet italian sausage and it was fabulous. Everyone had second servings - no leftovers.

Best ever Turkey I've made. It was all gone. Usually we throw out leftovers by saturday. Not with this recipe.

Everyone loved the stuffing! It was so moist and delicious! I never want to cook turkey any other way. The only thing that I did to my bird that wasnt in this recipe was to take some butter that I mixed with freshly chopped parsley and put the butter inside the cavity of the turkey and also under the skin of the turkey. I used about 2 sticks of butter in all and as it cooked I based it with the rest of the butter. Its was sooo delicious!

This is similar to the stuffing that i make, but i don't put it in the bird. I add crumbled sausage, diced apples, sauted celery and Walnuts. It's one of my favorite. Dorothy
