Double-Layer Pumpkin Pie

Double-Layer Pumpkin Pie recipe

For our money, Cinderella had it wrong. We'll take the pumpkin, not the prince. This delicately layered, sweet and creamy pie is case in point.

There is too much pumpkin filling for a 6 oz. graham cracker crust. Suggest using the larger sized crust. Good tasting pie.
I made this at Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it would be great any time of year, and I get requests for it. I used a little less pumpkin and a tiny bit less ground cloves, but that was just our tastes, it is really good. A keeper!,thanks Kraft foods.
I found this recipe while searching for an option to use some leftover canned pumpkin and wanted something less fussy than a traditionally (bake, water bath, etc.) cheesecake. It turned out really great. I took everyone's advice and used less milk for the pumpkin layer and it worked out really great, set up with no problem at all after being in the fridge overnight.
I've been making this recipe for over 12 yrs. It's the no bake of pure greatness. This is a must to do this Christmas. Just to thing you make it and you put in the fridge, and in 4 hrs to over night it's ready to delight whole family. MERRY CHRISTMAS
I make this every year its yummy.
Love this. Always gets rave reviews. A lighter take on traditional pumpkin pie. I personally like a graham cracker crust much better than a regular pastry crust. The pumpkin layer is a bit too much to fit easily in the crust. I solved that by leaving out about a cup of the pumpkin layer. I mixed that with about 2/3 of the remaining Cool Whip to make pumpkin mousse. Put in parfait glasses and topped with the last of the Cool Whip. If I was feeling really fancy I could have layered with crushed graham crackers. Yum!
I made this pie 2 days ago for Thanksgiving. The taste was very good. However the pumpkin layer was runny, even tho I refrigerated over night. Could it have been because I used skim milk? My family liked it, but the pumpkin just wouldn't stay on the cheese layer. thank you for any help you have.
I make this every year for my family Christmas party. I have to make two because my family loves it so much!!
I have been making this recipe for 5 years now. Its so so goood! Everyone in my family loves it!
