I have to make 5 pies @ Thanksgiving & at Christmas by family and friends request. People who don't like pumpkin pie fall absolutely in love with this one! Including me!!

I JUST finished making this recipe and thought there was an awful lot of the cream cheese mixture. The crust couldn't hold the entire pumpkin mixture so I squeezed as much as I could in. I checked the recipe again, from my phone, and it called for HALF of the cream cheese. I ran to my desktop computer and looked up the recipe and it said all 8 ounces. So I'm terribly confused and hope it turns out well!

I make this recipe every year for the holidays. I use 1 3/4 Cup fresh pumpkin puree (leftover from halloween) and 1 3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice. It is absolutely delicious!

Would anyone know if this could be made with pumpkin pie spice because ground clove is a little over $8 right now for the itty bitty container?!?! Thanks!
