This recipe was quick & easy, but I had to add some salsa and sour cream to make it more flavorful.

The recipe was pretty easy to make, however, needed some alterations. I used canned chopped tomatoes with basil and onions, some salsa and substituted velveta for cheddar cheese. I also put the corn chips on the bottom of the dish, poured the hamburger mixture on the top, then additional corn chips on top. I then baked in in the oven. This helped the recipe quite a bit. It just doesn't have enough "umph" as it is written. The family ate it, but it was not a dish they requested to be made again.

I made this recipe last night and was very disapponited. It was bland. I usually take the time to rework a recipe as I prepare it but I was in a hurry and made it exactly as the recipe said. IF I made it again there would be some major changes to perk up the flavor such as adding salsa and maybe some sour cream to the final mix. My kids did not even like this.

I have other similar ones that I've tried from this website that I like better and would make more often, but this is a good one to make once in a while for a change of pace. My boyfriend liked it a lot, and the cool tomatoes added at the end was a good touch.
