I think in an earlier review I said I added cream of potato but I obviously was thinking of a different recipe! This one is by far the BEST homemade mac and cheese I've had. I added a little garlic, onion and then ritz crackers to the top. Never any left overs. Delicious!!!
Yum! I did a double batch and I added about 2 tsp garlic powder and some black pepper and topped with crushed ritz crackers!
I make this recipe pretty often and there's never any left. I like it extra cheesy so I blend in all the cheese then sprinkle the top with Kraft Crumbles. Also very easy to double.
Very good mac and cheese recipe. My children love it. It's easy enough to add seasonings, veggies, or pre-cooked meat to adjust to your tastes. I'm always trying something different.
My whole family loved it. We will make it again and we will be making it often. After eating this mac and cheese it makes it hard to eat the other out of the box.

I have tried to make "home-made" macaroni and cheese many times, and this is the only one that came out right. I took it to Christmas dinner and it was gone right away!
Followed recipe to the letter. Best I've tasted in years. Family loved it.
I made this with very high hopes, but it didn't come out as good as expected. It thickened nicely, but came out slightly gritty with a bit of an odd taste. I may have done something incorrectly, and I plan to try again.
