What You Need

lb. lean ground beef

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

cup water

eggs, beaten

1/2

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

step 1

PLACE meat, stuffing mix, water, eggs and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce in bowl.

step 2

MIX just until blended.

step 3

SHAPE into loaf in 13x9-inch baking dish.

step 4

TOP with remaining barbecue sauce. Bake 1 hour or until done (160ºF).

How to Make Cleanup Easy

Place all ingredients except 1/4 cup barbecue sauce in gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Remove excess air from bag; seal bag and squeeze until ingredients are evenly mixed. Shape meat mixture into loaf in bag. Transfer loaf from bag to baking dish; brush with remaining barbecue sauce. Bake as directed.

Variation

Substitute ground pork or veal for the ground beef and/or ketchup for the barbecue sauce.

Serving Suggestion

Serve this comfort food with mashed potatoes and a hot steamed vegetable, such as broccoli.

Instead of BBQ sauce I used tomato and I added red pepper flakes, italian seasoning, onion, garlic and sage to give it more kick. I recommend using sage flavored stuffing.

I am not a meatloaf person. But this meatloaf was great. All the ingriedents was something that I like. My husband also liked it and we will definitely be eating it again!
