I like the idea of this recipe, but I did not like the barbque flavor with the biscuts. I will make it again, but without the bbq sauce.
This was awesome. Made them for a buffet table. People kept coming back for more and asking for the recipe.
This was a good recipe, but not my favorite. I'm not usually a fan of Barbecue sauce, so that's probably why I didn't like them as much. My husband enjoyed them, and they reheated well in the oven.
The biscuits were slightly doughy in the middle around the meat and the filling was a bit salty. My fiance and I did not enjoy it.
I didn't have BBQ sauce, so I added some ketchup, worchestershire & steak sauce instead. I also used seasoned salt, pepper and an onion when browning the meat. It turned out really great, everyone liked it, from my 18 month old to my husband.
very plain, biscuits didnt sit well in muffin pan, needed more seasoning
I thought they were actually pretty good. My kids didn't really go for them (still can't figure out why), but i will try again with the pizza or cheeseburger version some other reviewers mentioned.
I took these to a potluck and everyone loved them. I was asked for the recipe by quite a few people.
Fast and easy. Can easily be done simpler (minus the carrot and peppers). Also, feel free to use what you have on hand (spaghetti sauce or alfredo sauce for starters). I have tried many different variations and they have yet to disappoint. Best right out of the oven.
It was a pretty good recipe. You get two biscuits in a serving for 290cal, so I say not bad. It could have used a little more BBQ sauce and more cheese (when I make it again I will definitely do this.) Also, it says to only use part of the biscuits but there was more than enough filling for the whole can. I actually had trouble getting all the filling to go down into the biscuits.
