I made this cake twice first I sent one to my daughter& grandson in Texas they loved it, the green icing going down the cake I didn't have good sucess with it, but the orange icing worked good I baked the second one for friends and family day at church and used it as a center piece on the desert table huge sucess. I took 2 bundt pans and made the cake to make it more rounder the extra cake I cut off to make them even, I didn't run the green icing down the side on this one. I put it in the middle of the cake hole to hold the ice cream cone in place, It holds the cone in place better. I will make it again next year.

I made this recipe at our church Fall Festival. I had many comments on how delicious and festive it was. I used a butter cake mix for the cake and it went so well with the cream cheese icing. I will definitely be making this easy, yet delicious recipe next year.

I made this recipe last night for one of the girls in the office for her birthday. Everyone was ranting and raving about how delicious and creative the cake was. It was very moist and scrumptious. I will definitely make this cake again and again and again!!!

At age 64 and just starting to learn how to cook and bake, this was a very easy recipe and received "rave" reviews from halloween guests and from church members. So, two cakes were made and enjoyed by many. Thanks for this recipe!

Presentation was great. I used a different cake flavor, icing though was just ok. I would make this style again (great idea) but not a big fan on the cream cheese frosting, will experiment with something else.

I wasted a lot of effort and money on ingredients trying to make a spectacular looking cake. Karlaa, who left the suggestion of using two bundt pans, had it right. It does not look anything like your picture if you use a tube pan.

This turned out to be an awesome recipe, a little time consuming but a crowd pleaser. I made two spice bundt cakes and turned the bottom upside down and the top right side up, after cutting the excess. Throw the icing on and you have it!

This turned out great. I used chocolate fudge cake. I thickened the icing a bit with powdered sugar and corn starch to make it stiffer for decorating. I also piped some thinner viney lines and added a few leaves with a leaf tip which looked great. One note - the comet cup is a bit small and will tend to sink into the middle.
