Simply Saucy Chicken recipe
Made the Greek one with vegetable broth and double the salad dressing, over penne. It's a keeper!

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong when I make the Ceasar version of this but it always comes out overly salty tasting to me. I made it for a friend who doesn't like tomatoes and scraped them off and he really liked it.
Very easy! And you can sub ingredints you don't have or like. I served the Greek style over pasta (I used a little more dressing for this). Very tastey!
I love this mix and match stuff. I love being creative and throwing things together. So I just used the lowfat italian dressing, chopped the chicken into bite size pieces and browned it with 4 cloves of garlic. Garlic by the way is very good for cholestorol. Then I threw in green onion, red pepper, black olives and slices of fresh tomato and I added a bit more italian dressing and some seasoning and served it over linguine with shredded parmesean cheese and with a nice salad. It makes a nice italian meal thats not too fattening. Everbody loved it. Even my picky nine yr old who won't touch a vegetable.
OK...I see this one as a "see what's in the fridge and make it happen" type deal. I just returned from 10 days out of the country and was craving something that I'd cooked myself. With a trip to the grocery store to retrieve fresh chicken, the Classic Ceasar Dressing, and other necessities for daily living, I realized I still didn't have something that fit into a horizontal line of the cooking table. So, I mixed and matched the chicken with various seasonings, cheese and dressings that I had along with a fresh salad and a plate of rice. The family loved it! The best thing is that you can prepare a salad with the same *fresh* ingredients you used to prepare the dish. Way to save me once agan, Kraft!
I made the Greek Vinaigrette version. 2 out of 4 of us thought it was very good. Of the two who didn't care for it as much, one doesn't like chicken. The other one thought the chicken was a little bland, but thought it was okay. Next time I try this I will marinate the chicken in some of the dressing prior to cooking it.
Served over rice this has become a favorite at dinner. Also a great recipe for those allergic to gluten.
As others have said, this recipe was SUPERB. I had all of the ingredients on hand, so I followed the exact recipe. I was so surpirsed how good this was, yummy. I served it over basmati rice. I'll keep this recipe and serve over and over again.
I make the Ceaser dressing version all the time. I cut the chicken into bite sizes, and just add italian seasoning, salt & pepper instead of the individual spices called for. I add a little extra dressing and use canned petite tomatoes to make it more runny and serve it with penne pasta and parm cheese! Great for leftovers too!
Wonderful dish! Looks and tastes impressive but was incredibly easy to make - and that's saying something given I'm typically a pretty horrible cook!
my husband made this with a twist. OMG;)
