Why in the world would you "discard the vegetables"? They are full of flavor and are most nutrituous.

Great and easy! This was my first time roasting a whole chicken and it came out juicy and delicious. The dressing gives it a great flavor and is good gravy to poor over the sliced chicken...I have made it twice in the past 2 weeks! Very Good!

Simply delish!I surrounded the chicken with vegetables instead and added garlic and whole onion instead into the cavity then discarded them.YUM!

This was so easy to make and the chicken was so moist. Everyone loved it in my house. Will definately make this again.

Looks good but I have a question, why do I need to disgard the vegetables after the chicken is done cooking? I think the vegetables would be a good side dish.
