Moist Caramel Apple Cake

Moist Caramel Apple Cake recipe
Inspired by a childhood favorite, this recipe reinvents the caramel apple as a cake, with fresh, tangy chopped apples baked into a treat that’s a whole lot easier to eat.

I gave it to a friend of mine at work. She loves to bake. This cake was marvelous. I am going to bake it as too because it was so good!

A delicious cake!

I thought the cake was yummy. I used butterscotch pudding and it went really well with the carmel. I would drizzle carmel on each slice after I cut it and serve it that way. I would also add some cinnamon next time.

The cake came out great, but the caramel was too runny. I think I'll try making it with a white icing next time.

I thought this recipie was great! Very moist and super easy to make. Only thing I would add though is at least one or two teaspoons of cinnamon. My family loved it so it didn't last very long at our house.

Had difficulty getting the cake out of the bundt pan. I also thought the cake was far too sweet. The cake turned mushy after a few days & I threw the remaider out. Would not waste my time again.

A little too sweet for me. The caramel and the added sugar from the pudding put the sweet factor over the top. Basically it just tastes like a yellow cake with bits of mushy cooked apple with caramel on top. It is moist, but would be better if apples were lightly cooked and served on the side rather than inside the cake. Might need some spices or nuts to improve my rating. The concept sounds delicious, but the result is lacking.

DELICIOUS! Very moist cake. One recommendation, let the caramel cool a bit longer than 10 min before drizzling on cake in order to avoid spillage.
