After baking the noodles were over cooked and there was no flavor to it at all.

Not very good, lacked flavor and moisture. It was one of those recipes that when you taste it, you immediately go make a bologna sandwich. I did make a change, I used pure cream instead of milk and regular Kraft sharp cheddar.

The first time I saw this basic recipe was when I was in Home Economis class when I was a freshman; that was over 45 years ago. Back then we had to make it all from scratch; no boxed or frozen things back then. I didn't think that I would like it as much with the boxed mac and cheese or the frozen veggies, but the results were easy, looked great and tasted even better. Who says that you can't teach an old dog new tricks!! Thanks to Betty Crocker, who has been in my kitchen for over 50 years.

This is a good way to make Mac and Cheese into a meal.

It is way better with the ground beef.

Very good- I made it without the frozen veggies, but even without them, it still gave me over 5 servings and was great tasting. I took it for my lunch and I tried it cold and warm, and prefer the warm meal.
