I tried this recipe because I had some stuffing to use up. I was pleasently surprised with the results. I don't usually make recipes with convenience ingredients like boxed stuffings, potatoes, etc but I will keep this recipe around if I need to make something quick or easy. It would probably be a great recipe for my husband to make on the nights I'm working.

We enjoyed this meal. After reading many reviews prior to making this I chose to do the following: cut the chicken into bite size & seasoned it with garlic, lemon pepper & onion powder, doubled the sour cream, then mixed the chicken in with the sour cream/soup. Baked for 30 minutes and it was perfect! Will do this again!

made this yesterday with a cpl friends and everyone seemed to love it! there was nothing left... But because some reviews had said it was a little bland we added seasonings to our taste! and we also cooked our chicken prior to mixing everything together.... but they are all talking about wanting this again soon!

I have made this with chicken and pork. We love it either way. I usually chop up the pork, add salt, pepper, garlic etc and saute it a few minutes in a pan before adding to recipe just to make sure it's completely cooked by the time I take it out of the oven. Also have used different veggies each time ... peas, corn, diced onions & peppers, etc. I use either the cream of chicken or cream of mushroom and have added powdered chicken bouillon for a little extra flavor. It's pretty versatile and as many reviews said, you can make it your own. It's a great casserole for pot-luck dinners, house-warming parties, or anything requiring you to bring a dish. I've never come home with anything more than an empty casserole dish!
