I have made this recipe many times for my family and they love it. It doubles very well too. I find that using a canned sauce works the best for us, as does mixing the meat in with the sauce before assembling the dish.

I adjusted the recipe without the mac 'n cheese dinner. Instead I used elbow macaroni as the pasta base. It tastes just as good without as many calories.

I originally made this for my nephews but they are very picky, so my husband and i ate most of it and its delicious!! will definately make it again.

My kids devoured this dish. They loved it and I liked it too. I served it with a side of steamed broccoli. I will double this recipe the next time I make it.

Great recipe!! My 3 year old and my husband loved it. I made it even more "light" by not using butter in my mac and cheese, used lean ground turkey burger instead of beef, and used fat free mozarella cheese. Very easy weeknight dinner!!
