I loved this recipe. Very quick and easy. However, the call for a mere 20 Nilla Wafers simply does not cover the bottom of the dish. In order to get the crust as pictured, you have to double or even triple the Nilla Wafers and margarine. Otherwise a very wonderful dessert. Made it this morning, ready by lunch time. Thank you!

Good recipe. Pretty easy to put together. I did not have Nilla wafers on hand, so I used graham cracker crumbs instead. The picture doesn't look like it has Cool Whip on the top like the recipe says, so I mixed the remainder of the Cool Whip into the pudding before spreading it over the banans. That worked just fine and looked like the recipe. The small amount of butter doesn't allow the crust to stick together well, and the fillings are thick enough to stand up alone (I used only 2 cups of milk with the pudding by accident), so it was a little messy getting out of the pan and certainly didn't look as pretty as the picture but it was still tasty.

This was the best banana pudding recipe I have ever tasted. I had to use a wopping 60 wafers to cover the bottom, but all those extra calories where well worth it. Everyone loved it, I made it twice in on week.

We will probably make this again, but will significantly increase the # of wafers used for the crust, or use ladyfingers or graham crackers instaed (low fat or fat free). I'd like to try a version with chocolate pudding and stawberries instead of vanilla pudding and bananas.
