Great recipe. A hit at Thanksgiving. If you have trouble removing cake from pan put the pans in the oven for about 10 seconds.
So good and easy to make. Next time I will add more cherries to the middle.

This recipe was easy and wonderful! I made on Tuesday and took home the extras on Friday and the cake was still wonderful! The icing is tasty and like you would find on a black forrest cake. There was plenty of icing to spare, even a little extra left to snack on. Iced the cake easily without crumbs falling everywhere! Wouldn't change a thing-a picture perfect cake! :)
This very easy recipe made me look VERY professional! It was delicious and was a HUGE hit with my bunco gals! For the chocolate glaze, I folded a sandwich baggie over a small cup and spooned the chocolate into it. No mess, no fuss, very easy!
I made this cake over the weekend for my brother's 32 birthday. It is AWESOME. EASY, DELICIOUS. I will definitly make again. WOW No improvements needed. I do recommend a pastry bag (plastic) in order to drizzel the chocolate as pretty as you did. YUM
I just made this recipe over the weekend for my son's 8th birthday party with 16 relatives. (My son picked out the recipe!) Everybody LOVED it! This recipe deserves 5 stars! One of the best cakes I have ever tasted. The frosting tasted amazing and was easy to make. The only part that was difficult was putting the melted chocolate in the plastic baggie and trying to squeeze it out. But for my first time, itl looked pretty much like the picture! I highly recommend this wonderful recipe for the holidays or for any special occasion!
