EVERYONE loved this cake, including my husband who doesn't particularly care for cake. I had to make it 2 weekends in a row because everyone wanted more!!!

Made this for a dinner party--even my husband who is NOT a desert eater LOVED it. It was quite simple and the frosting was YUMMY!!! It turned out to be very pretty! I will absoutely make this again-

Very easy and tasty. Cake was very moist. I used real whipping cream instead of cool whip. The frosting was perfect. I didn't use the cherries just because I didn't have them on hand. It was fine without them but one of my friends said the cherry flavor was very mild so the addition of the cherries might kick up the flavor

It turned out to be a very pretty cake, but next time I think I would use cream cheese icing. It just didnt seem sweet enough. The cake was good though.

love this recipe! make it with raspberries instead of cherries. One of the best cakes that I have ever made/ate. A must try recipe!

This is the best cake I've had in a long time. It was very easy to make and very moist even after a couple of days in the refrigerator. This tastes like a chocolate covered cherry.
