We made this without peanut butter. We used crushed mint Oreo style cookies and this was a huge hit for Christmas treats.

This is just too easy. I make it according to recipe but other ways also. I have obmitted the peanut butter and cookies and just used just the chocolates. Very good! Also have crushed the Bob's Soft Peppermint candy canes and used half in each chocolate minus the peanut butter and cookies. Makes a very festive presentation that is super good.

I'm just wondering if this can be made without peanut butter and without the dried cranberries? my son is severely allergic to peanuts, so we can't make anything that uses it. It looks delicious though, and I really want to make it.
