this recipe was easy to make but it did not taste good at all. it would have been better to just make regular brownies, or a regular cheesecake.

Easy recipe and quick. Not bad for a low-fat brownie. I would definitely make this again since I have to watch my fat intake and I love brownies !!

i didnt have enough of the cheese mix to spread over the top. it smelt good but didnt taste good.

I believe the "taste" would be more wowing if next time we put a bit of vanilla or peppermint or almont extract into the cheesecake mixture before marbling. I think that was what's "missing".

Church Youth group thought they tasted great! So did us "older" folks! And my two little ones,too. I had used a "turtle" brownie mix (without the carmel pkt) and a "chocolate chunk" mix. The only thing I changed is using REAL creamcheese. WE DO NOT LIKE NEUFCHATEL! So add a little fat back and they taste great !!

Very bland, everyone commented that it was ok but not much flavor. Is that the sacrifice for lower fat?

Brilliant. I love that all oil has been removed. The apple sauce makes a very fudgy brownie and oh so good! The only think I would suggest is maybe a double batch of cheesecake mixture.

I used Fat Free Cream Cheese with this. That, combined with the flour & egg, made the cream cheese parts more chewy than creamy. My husband love it, though. I will definitely make it again, but will cut half (if not all) of the flour out. Great lower fat recipe for that chocolate craving!!
