A big hit at parties! Delicious like a traditional cheese ball, minus the mess!

so much better for a crowd than a regular cheese ball...also i substituted bacon bits, and it was a bit easier and faster.

Time consuming, but worth it for the bite-size goodness.

Tasted great! What I did for half of them was instead of nuts i used cheese.

I really liked the taste of these and they are easy to make. This is a recipe you can make all year long.

I make this every year for my Christmas party and everyone loves it. It is easy to make if you use a food processor to mix. I leave the onions out and make it into a large ball instead of mini cheese balls.

I made these using the substitution suggestions (I have a hard-copy recipe using those ingredients from an older Kraft magazine). Although I'm tempted to try it using the Chive & Onion spread, I probably won't -- it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It tasted kind of strange. I don't think it was the nuts that made it strange, as some have said -- I think it was the mixture of herbs, spices, and green onions. My friend really raved about it, but she was the only one out of 4 of us that really liked it. I did not think it was as hard to put together as some have suggested, and aside from the taste, having individual cheese balls instead of one big one is at least unique and fun.

These were very good. Consider making a larger cheeseball depending on amount of people. May tinker with some additional herbs next time for my own tastebuds. I did get requests for the recipe though.
