This was good. I used chicken drumsticks, it's what I had on hand. Worked great.
its good my husband likes it,, but i skip the red peper and i add onion and mashroom,,and i add some oregano seasoning,,it was really good
This dinner, is pretty good. It's messy, but worth it. I used one yellow and one red pepper, and added a green zucchini. Also I seasoned this dish with italian seasoning, garlic, black pepper, seasoning salt, dried onions (would have used fresh, but I didn't have any); and I also added little chili powder. I also put in half a can of water (i used the tomato can) I def. recommend adding the extra water to it. Next time around, I am going to put some pesto sauce and more chili powder to give it more flavor.
I added my own seasonings to this (adobo and sofrito, which are hispanic seasonings with salt), and it was still lacking on the flavor/salt side. Wasn't bad, just did not have much a flavor at all. Tomato sauce and chicken...that's it.
This is nothing but chicken cooked in canned tomatos. It needs more seasoning and some substance.
This was really easy and tasted great! I used drumsticks and the whole can of tomato sauce, and I added a half cup of water and some frozen chopped onion. Next time, I will use boneless chicken breasts or tenders to make it easier for the kids to eat. It was perfect served over rice, but pasta would also be good!
This recipe was so good. Its one of those dishes that taste like it took all day to cook, my kids asked for more and well lets say there were no left overs.
I know of something simailer to this but the twist of red pepper instead of green sounded like a good idea. I did add to this with 1 small green pepper and 1 small yellow cut into thin strips. I perferred the added bonus of the other two peppers included.
I just used jarred sauce. Served over spaghetti. A nice change to chicken legs. Will make again.
This was easy to make it and it was good, everyone loved it and I will make it again.
