Elevate brownies (in both senses of the word) with layers of chewy and creamy. Chocolate plus peanut butter plus creamy frosting means a tall stack of yum.

My husband LOVES chocolate and peanut butter so figured this would be a hit but no such luck. "Oh well"
When making the brownies I used a can a black beans (pureed) instead of the oil and eggs or whatever else you are supposed to add to a brownie mix; this adds fiber and protein to the brownies. I also used sugar-free pudding and reduced fat peanut butter and forgot to add the powdered sugar; even without the sugar the pudding mixture was delicious and I'm thrilled that I saved a few grams of sugar. Everyone at the dinner party loved the brownies! I froze the extras and found that they warm quite nicely in the microwave.
These were fabulous! I took them to work and a small group and were a big hit. I have even been volunteered to make them again for our work Christmas party! I do agree, it did take about 1 1/2 min for the chocolate and cool whip to melt completely. These were super easy and delicious. A must try even for the most novice bakers such as myself!
These are awesome! Everyone loves them. Will make them again soon. I must say that it took about 1 1/2 minutes for the Cool Whip and chocolate to melt instead of only one minute. No big deal on that.
I would absolutely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt make this again! Easy, delicious & cures the sweet urge with a small piece. What more could you want? Death by Chocolate has been the favorite special ocassion dessert for the family, but this has taken over the #1 spot for so many people! To answer Ruthie23's question as to the size of the pudding package, I used the 1 oz size & used the measurements in the recipe & it came out amazing!
Have a question about the vanilla pudding pkg. It calls for 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) There is no such thing, 1 package large is 1.5 oz and a small one is 1 oz. I used 1.5 pkg and just had to add a little more milk to it.Did any one else have that problem, other wise is was great and I would make it again.
I didn't have luck with this recipe. The layers didn't stick toether and the chocolate on top never set. any hints????
Absolutely heavenly!! These are the best & easy too. Everyone raves about them. A must make.
Very very yummy! Perfect blend of chocolate and peanut butter
I cant say enough good things about these brownies! They are delicious and very easy to make. My family loved them and loved how the vanilla pudding made the peanut butter very creamy. I will be making these again!
