Freestyle Apple Tart recipe

Somewhere between a tart and a pie—and right smack in the middle of delicious. Fresh apples layer over a cream cheese filling and bake up with sugar and spice…so nice.

Love, love, love this recipe! It came out of the oven picture perfect. Couldn't stop eating it. Called my daughter and she went out and bought the ingredients to make it for herself.

This recipe makes up fast, and impresses! I added a bit more cinnamon - sprinkled on top of the cream cheese, and, after the tart was done baking - spread some butter on top of the pie crust with a brush. So good!

The cream cheese was overpowering. Next time I make this, I'll use half the amount that the recipe calls for.

I have made this recipe many times. Everyone loves it. I substitute pears from the trees in our yard, and it comes out great too! Really easy to fix up quick.

My Husband made this pie yesterday. Its the best We have ever ate. Its not to sweet. It's creamy but, you can taste all the apples. I can't say enough good things about this pie. Just try it, you will be glad you did.

I absolutely LOVED this! I will be making it again. My husband wasn't thrilled with it, but he's a pickier eater than some of our children! lol. As far as the previous entry- I don't think it would have the same zing to it if you omit the cream cheese!

Really liked it! I will make it next time without cream cheese for a little healthier treat.
