No-Cream Creamy Broccoli Soup

No-Cream Creamy Broccoli Soup recipe
There’s more to this better-for-you soup than the name suggests. Like four flavorful veggies, rice and savory grated Parm. A warm, smooth, satisfying bowl of goodness.

I doubled the recipe and will freeze portion sizes. It's a great way to get the veggies we need. I had some broccoli that was limp and used it up this way. Makes for a great lunch with a sandwich. Loved it.

this soup received rave reviews at my house! I actually forgot to add the milk and it was still delicious, and probably lower in fat too! Yummy.

You know, this soup was really good. I added minced garlic when I was cooking vegies in oil and some extra spices later on, but what really made it taste great was tabasco. I just can't get over how really healthly the soup is, by using fat-free milk, the soup is pretty much fat-free!

You have to add some of your own fave seasonings to this, but all in all, it was very quick, easy and mighty tasty. I served it to friends and to make it seem more fancy, I put some gourmet croutons on the top.

Very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that this recipe was somewhat mild. (I tend to go for super spicy stuff). Also, my wife hates brocolli. But, nothing Kraft can do about that.

I love creamy soups and using rice is a great substitute for cream or milk. Also I use a hand blender in the pot instead of pouring the soup into a regular blender and cut down on time and cleanup. (And I have never added celery my husband hates it).
