I made this for a Christmas party, and it was the first time that I had ever made a trifle, and I would do this one over and over again! It is very easy and very yummy! I did substitute the shaved chocolate with chocolate wafers and made a crumb from the wafers. I just put a few of the chocolate wafers in a baggie and used a rolling pin to crush them. I also used the chocolate wafers in lieu of the nilla wafers. Everyone enjoyed this, and now I am going to make it for my family Christmas party on Christmas day!

IMPORTANT: I made this 3 times in one week (for different events) it was that well received! While it tastes delicious those who are drawn to the visual appeal of this dessert may be deceived. It is not as easy to create the perfect layers. Use a smaller, less-bowed bowl for best results.

This recipe was great. All the trifle recipes are wonderful and so easy to make. They are perfect to take to work as a nice treat and go over so big with others.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it! I made several other desserts too but not as much of those were eaten. The Tiramisu Bowl was completely gone by the end of the night. I made mine without the Raspberries and don't think I will ever add them because it was perfect without them!
