What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate

3/4

cup butter

cups sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

cup flour

cup coarsely chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

cup ready-to-spread vanilla frosting

1/4

cup multi-colored sprinkles

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts; spread into prepared pan.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.

USE foil handles to lift brownies from pan. Cut into heart shapes with 2-inch cookie cutter. Reserve scraps for snacking or other use. Decorate cutouts with frosting and sprinkles.

Just okay brownies. Not enough chocolate flavor for me and too buttery or soft in the middle. Will try using a little less butter (maybe 1 /14 sticks) and using slightly more chocolate or cocoa powder. I also think adding some chocolate chips would be a great addition. Overall just okay.

This recipe is so easy to make and is very delicious! I used 1 1/2 cups of sugar, instead of 2 cups, and it came out very good! Everybody at home love it!!!

This recipe is very easy, very simple ingredients to make a great fudgy brownie. I made some slight changes to the recipe. First I used regular bakers cocoa instead of baker's unsweetened baking chocolate squares. I used a 1/2 cup of dark baker's cocoa powder. Followed the directions as usual. Instead of leaving your brownies in the pan until cool I slid them out with the foil onto a baking board. I find it is easier to Cut my brownies with the cookie cutter when warm and not when theyh are cool. Let cool for an hour on the board already cut out and then use a spatula to seperate the cut outs from the crumbs. Then decorated as usual.

The first time I made this recipe I used 2 cups of flour by mistake. They turned out like bricks. My family got a good laugh once I realized my mistake. I have made them several times since and they are fabulous.

Very delicious, quick and easy one bowl recipe. This will replace my favorite brownie recipe. We used pecans instead of walnuts and used a little less sugar, but the walnuts are good, too. Instead of the white frosting, we used chocolate frosting with chocolate sprinkles and a small chocolate heart. For other occasions, or if you don't want the "waste", dust with cocoa or confectioners sugar and cut into squares.

This is the BEST brownie recipe ever! I made them for my managers birthday at work and now I am the favorite! I get to go home early from work just about whenever I want as long as I make more! My mother-in-law also bought me new baking dishes that I needed just so that I would make her some more brownies! If you haven't made this recipe yet you need to!! They are Heavenly even without the heart shaped cutout!! P.S. try it with out the frosting! mmmmm!

This is the easiest brownie recipe, and also the best I ever tasted for homemade. I made them for people at work and gave everyone the recipe. I will always use this recipe when I make brownies now! I cut them in squares as traditional brownies. They are too moist for the cookie-cutter.
