I have actually been making this recipe for years, for my family and coworkers and everyone that i have made it for has then made it for their families because its so simple and good! The only difference is that i heat it in the oven because it melts the cheese on top better and i serve it with tortilla chips or doritos.

This has been a long time staple in my family. Whether you're going to a party or just having a cozy night in with family or friends (or by yourself!), this dip is sure to please. I've also tried adding a layer or refried beans to it. Cream cheese smoothed into a glass pie dish, layer of refried beans, layer of chili (ironically, I prefer the no bean variety), healthy layer of shredded cheese & microwave till melted. Serve with some sturdy tortilla chips for ample dipping. ENJOY!

I make this recipe a lot and everyone loves it! The only thing i do different is that i mix taco seasoning into the cream cheese first.

So easy and everything that I normally have on hand. This is one my kids will put together for me if we are all working in the kitchen.
