This is a wonderful recipe. Very easy and great if your short on time. I used zesty italian dressing, the whole brick of cream cheese and 1lb of thin spag. It was creamy and yummy!!

We enjoyed this recipe. I have made alfredo with shrimp before but using milk and I thought I probably cooked it too much and it had a funky taste. This recipe is a good alternative for me. I added mushrooms to it as others have.

I made this tonight and followed the recipe with only a couple of changes... I didn't have chicken broth so I used the beef that I had. And I like a lot of sauce so I made only half as much pasta. It was wonderful! But next time I will make the full amount of pasta... I think there is plenty of sauce and I want more for leftovers! Also gonna try it with chicken for my husband (tonight was just for me).

THIS WAS GREAT. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT. IT'S SO EASY AND DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TIME TO MAKE IT. I'M GOING TO TRY CHICKEN NEXT TIME INSTEAD OF SHRIMP. THIS IS A KEEPER.

The recipe was easy but I would not call it a true alfredo flavor...definitely could tell it was cream cheese. I gave it three stars because it is edible and not a complete waste of ingredients but I will certainly NOT be making it again. If you like shrimp alfredo, my suggestion is to stick with the original and only indulge once in awhile. :)

was easy. was very good. the only addition i would make in bold type is... its NOT to be heated up but to be eaten as soon as its done. noodles get hard on top...sauce solidifies..and its rather ugly.

We LOVE this recipe! I use the low fat cream cheese and cubed chicken (usually from a rotiserre chicken) since my husband doesn't like seafood. My husband says that this is better than any alfredo he's had anywhere. This is also a quick and easy recipe for entertaining with.
