Make this rich, chocolaty showstopper only if you're comfortable with rock-star status. And don't bother saying how easy it was. Practice your paparazzi wave while it chills.

I made this dessert and my husband and family loved it. It was gone in two days and my husband is asking me to make it again soon.

It definitely is too sweet! It's like oreos topped with pounds of sugar. It was only appealing to the kids in our house who will eat anything as long as there is sugar involved. I won't make it again and wouldn't recommend it unless you are really in need of something over the top sweet!

Made this for the holidays and it was a big hit! I subsituted low fat/fat free where possible and it was still delious. Warning though, if you put the candycanes on too early - they tend to run on the cool whip!

Everyone LOVED this! So tasty and easy! But the candy canes will melt after awhile, so don't put them on until you get to your destination.

I made this for a Christmas party. It was the only dessert that the crowd ate (attacked)! I've been mobbed ever since by dozens of people pleading for the recipe! This is a REAL crowd pleaser. I topped mine with shaved chocolate. It's a beautiful dessert as well.

I changed the recipe around. I used light whipped cream, 2% milk, and 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I decreased the amount of sugar that went into the cream cheese (to about 2 tablespoons or less). I also decreased the amount of butter that went into the oreo crust (to about 3 tabelspoons or less). The kids and I loved it.
