Made this for the first time last night and it is very good. Lots of flavor! I've made other casserole dishes that my family wasn't totally in love with because they lacked some taste but this is full of flavor!

I knew I wanted to make this dish it sounded so good the only problem I had was while reading it was that it sounded so bland. I tweeked it big time adding alittle bit of this and that now I hope I remember what I put for the next time because it turned out fantastic!!!!!

I made this with gound chicken instead of beef. I also added fat-free chreamcheese because I was afraid of the topping being dry(and I was right to do so). Turned out great!

The meat and veggies had a very bland taste but the garlic potatoes and cheese topping saved the meal. Would make just the garlic potatoes as a side dish for a different meal next time.

My family loved this recipe! I made a few changes...instead of ground beef I used ground turkey and chicken broth instead of beef broth. Once served on a plate, I drizzled some chipotle sauce over it. My husband absolutely loved it! If you like it spicy I definitely recommend the chipotle. It's delicious!!!
