Kimgeo- did you see the whole recipe? I only had the directions listed (no ingredients list) until I added it to my recipe box. You don't add 3/4c to EACH one, that is the amount of addins/cheese for the entire recipe. Hope that helps!

Years ago when the kids were small I made my regular meatloaf recipe in muffin pans for dinner. The kids always came home from school starving and it took too long to make the meatloaf regular size. They loved it cause it was just the right size for them - they thought it was "personally" teirs.

I'm just responding to the previous raters question. The 3/4 cup of add-ins and 3/4 cup cheese are for all 12 meatloaves, not each one.

kimgeo - i believe they mean to disperse the 3/4 cup of filling and cheese between all of the mini meatloaves - not 3/4 cp per each one....that's my guess..

I think you're supposed to divided the 3/4 c of addins to the 12 servings.

I LOVE these little "meat muffins" as we call them at our house. The portions are perfect and they even turn out a little crispy on the bottoms and top (compared to regular meatloaf which can be mushy), which is great! A suggestion for the comment below- just sprinkle the top of each "meat muffin" with the toppings- each individual does not need a 3/4c of cheese on top. I believe the instructions meant as a whole, use about 3/4c of cheese over the whole dish. Thanks for a great recipe!!

FYI, the 3/4 cup is to be divided amoung the 6 loaves. It refers to the total amount to use for all six loaves.

I have tried all of the varieties listed. My family prefers the salsa and cheese one. This recipe is very fast and user friendly especially on evenings when the family is going in a million directions. This is not my special occasion meatloaf recipe, but it is definitely is my Monday-Friday evening go to recipe.

I think it's saying 3/4 cup divided between all of the mini loaves. In other words, don't put a whole jar of pizza sauce on them--just a couple of teaspoons or a tablespoon. Same with the cheese.

This is so simple, it bakes fast and the variety of kinds is wonderful. My favorite is the mexican/salsa one. Terrific!
