This cake is wonderful! Make sure that you let it cool 100%, maybe even make it the night before. It had a much richer flavor when it was room temperature!

I made this recipe twice. The first time I made it I used Pumpkin Spice pudding instead of the vanilla and it was great. Everyone asked for the recipe.

I have made this cake for years with chocolate chips, instead of the nuts and brown sugar, its everyone favorite, but this sounds even better.
