This was very easy and very good. My entire family loved it!
I think I used the wrong cut of meat, so I will try it again with what is called for. I used a rump roast. It didn't taste that great.
This recipe was so simple and very delicious!! I used onion soup mix instead of onion-mushroom, baby carrots, and served with mashed potatoes and brown gravy made from the juices. It was the first time I made a pot roast and my fiance requested that I make it more often! Thanks!
It was very good and my husband liked it very much and my grandson to.
This was so easy and so good. The roast was so juicy. Yum!
Did add the mustard/ flour/browning and the onion soup mix as previously recommended. The A-1 sauce added a great flavor as well. Very tender and most importantly...tasty!!
Very easy and very good!I was very surprised at how little work there was and how good it tasted!I am going to make it again for my family.
I wasn't sure if I was going to make this or not as I am not a fan of A1 sauce - turns out, I am pleased I did. I used a little under 1/3 cup of A1 with onion soup mix. I also added whole fresh mushrooms to the pan and seasoned everything with salt and fresh cracked pepper. The whole dish turned out perfect. My Husband loved it. This recipe is a definate keeper.
This was a very flavorful and tender roast. I rubbed some Dijon mustard on the roast, sprinkled some flour over it and then seared the meat in olive oil and butter. I used the dried onion soup mix, 3/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of A-1. I will definitely make this recipe again and again.
This was so good, I have never made pot roast before and it was the best. This is a keeper in our family.
