It is so nice to finally find a healthy desert that tastes good! My family loves this and as soon as it makes it to the table, its gone! I have also made this using pears instead of apples. I love making pear pie but don't love all of the fat and cholesterol the crust provides, so this way I get my pear pie but in a different version. I would definately recommend making this, its easy and a nice alternative to cake and chocolate.

I just made this recipe for our dessert tonight and it was wonderful! I love Apple Crisp and this is equally as good. My son's favorite dessert is Apple Crisp but he lives in Maine so I will send the recipe to hhis wife. She will be pleased at how simple it is to prepare and I know my son will love it. One person that rated this recipe said it seemed it didn't make enough so she will double it next time, I can understand that. Something that delicious WOULDN'T be big enough.

took it to a family get together and they all loved it. It was still very warm when we ate it, some put vanilla ice cream on it.

This was great! Even better with vanilla ice cream. The only downside to this recipe was that it didn't seem to make a whole lot. I followed the recipe to a T and it felt like I needed to double the recipe shown. Otherwise, very good:-) ~MW
