Look no further for your new favorite meatloaf! Ours uses Stove Top stuffing instead of breadcrumbs and is filled with cheddar cheesy goodness.

What You Need

large onion, finely chopped

1/4

cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

lb. extra-lean ground beef

3/4

cup ketchup, divided

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

cup water

egg whites

1/2

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

It's for dipping and dunking and mixing-upping. And yes, for salad too.

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

COOK onions in dressing in skillet on medium heat 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Cool slightly.

MIX meat, onions, 1/4 cup ketchup, stuffing mix, water and egg whites. Shape into 10x5-inch loaf in 13x9-inch baking dish; cover with remaining ketchup.

BAKE 55 min. to 1 hour or until done (160°F). Sprinkle with cheese; bake 2 min. or until melted.

We've made over this traditional entree and cut more than half the fat by using extra-lean ground beef and egg whites instead of whole eggs. As a result, this saves 6g of fat per serving.

How to Safely Prepare a Meatloaf

After shaping a meatl oaf with your hands, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water for at least 20 sec. A quick rinse under the faucet is not enough to kill any harmful bacteria.

This recipe sounds delish! But I ALWAYS cook my meatloaf on a broiler pan - that way most of the grease runs off!

Its a good meatloaf recipe, but save the money on the stovetop and use half a pack of ritz crackers and no water instead. Same taste.

This recipe was fabulous. I only had a pound of ground round, so I cut the recipe in half and it was delicious. Next time I will follow the recipe exactly, but with the threat of sleet and snow I couldn't get to the store. Thanks

All family members loved it. I have been searching for a good meatloaf recipe using extra lean beef and now I have found it. I wish you would leave the cottonseed oil out of your products. Several family members are allergic to it.

I've made this several times, it's so easy and so yummy! The kids request this all the time! I cut down on some of the onions and didn't add the cheese, but it still tastes great!

It was good but WAY too many onions. I would use either an onion soup mix next time or half of an onion. Made with mashed potato's and veggies

I was looking for something simple and this was it!! I was hesitant on some ingredients but my gosh did it turn out super awesome. If you are a first time meatloaf person, go for this one.
