Easy Shrimp Pasta for Two recipe
Fresh tomatoes and basil are available year-round. That's good news, because this creamy shrimp pasta shouldn’t be enjoyed only in summer.

This recipe comes out really dry. It's easy to doctor it up with extra cream, garlic, etc. though. Once "fixed" it's pretty good.

Quick, easy. I've made this a half dozen times and given the recipe to several friends.

I read the reviews and added cooked garlic and onions to the sauce and used more cream cheese and milk to thin. The secret is to cook it on very low heat. The major change I made was to not cook the tomatoes in the sauce, but added chopped fresh tomatoes over the top of the dish with the fresh basil. Hubby loved it.

I have made this recipe SO many times - my husband loves it. I have definitely edited it to fit our tastes - a little extra of this, less of that (my husband hates balsamic, so I nixed that) - but it's delicious. And also really good with chicken or no meat at all!

I added some garlic, as others suggested, but I still found it to be bland. I'm going to try it again with some of that Philly cooking cream.

I added a handful of snow peas for a bit of color. Delicious.

very good! I did as some others suggested and added chopped frozen spinach. Very flavorful and tasty. I didn't have fresh basil but subed w/dried.

I thought the pasta was only ok, but my boyfriend liked it alright. However, I didn't have fresh basil on hand so I'm not sure how much that affected the flavor.
