This recepie was delicious!! Forget Olive Garden or Johnny Carinos when I have this recipie to make at home!! However, I did take the advise of one person who said that they cooked the pasta and a couple of minutes before it was done added the frozen cooked shrimp to the water to defrost and microwaved the cream chesse and other ingredients to make the sauce saucier and it WORKED!! Thanks!!
I used canned tomatoes (without the juice). I added the prawns during the last 3 minutes of boiling the pasta. It was very easy to make--DELICIOUS--a real keeper! Thank you.
I thought this was very easy to make and good. The only thing was I like my sauce not watery and I added milk and it was too watery so I had to add corn starch to make it thicker. But, it was really good and so easy to make. I also added more marinade than the recipe called for because it didn't seem like enough and I had a bit more than a pound of shrimp. I also think next time I would use more ingredients because it was barely enough for the 2 of us but it did work. But than other than that it was awesome!!!!!!
Very tasty and very quick! I make this dish almost every week...definitely a requested dish in my house.
I love this recipe, it's tasty, quick and filling. Since I make it for one person, I alter the amounts accordingly. However, for ease of cooking, while boiling the pasta, I melt cream cheese with the italian dressing, basil (usually dried), crushed red pepper and tomatoes in the microwave. Towards the end of the pasta cook time, I add the frozen cooked shrimp to thaw. Then, I drain this, add the microwaved sauce and toss. Doing it this way ensures it's very saucy. The flavors are amazing. You can also use sun-dried tomatoes for a totally different, amazing dish.
I did as the recipe said but i added some hot sauce to add a spicy kick plus a teaspoon of milk and it came out great. Husband loved the spicy kick.
It was very good but the sauce was too thick, will add some milk next time, and there was too much basil.
I made this exactly as the recipe said; however, next time I will add some liquid to it as it was much too dry for my husband and I (perhaps either some milk as Kraft suggests or some extra virgin olive oil. Other than that, I will make it again adding some liquid to it.
This recipe was not one of my favorites... I used extra cream cheese but doing so took away from the other flavors. I might make it again in a pinch because it was so simple.
My family and I loved it. I will cook it again and again and again.
