Easy Shrimp Pasta for Two

What You Need

Tbsp. KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

1/2

lb. uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined

1/4

lb. fettuccine, uncooked

tomato, chopped

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed

Tbsp. chopped fresh basil, divided

Tbsp. KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Make It

POUR dressing over shrimp in small bowl. Refrigerate 20 min. to marinate.

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, heat large skillet on medium heat; add shrimp; cook 3 min. or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently. Remove shrimp from skillet; cover to keep warm.

ADD tomatoes, cream cheese and 1 Tbsp. basil to same skillet; cook and stir 3 min. or until well blended. Add shrimp; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta. Place on large platter; top with shrimp mixture, remaining basil and shredded cheese.

Prepare using thawed frozen shrimp.

Note

For a thinner sauce, stir small amount of milk into sauce with the shrimp.

Next time I make this, I will definitely add milk to the sauce because it was pretty thick. Other than that, it was great!

My family loved this! I doubled the recipe to feed 4 and made a few changes too. I didn't have some of the ingredients, so I improvised. Used small diced canned tomatoes instead of fresh, no fresh basil so used dried Italian seasoning, also added a little garlic powder and at the end I added about a cup of frozen baby peas. Will definitely make again and have shared the recipe with family.

I deviated from the recipe by using angel hair pasta. This recipe was not only very easy to make, but it was also delicious. My husband and I liked it so much that I've given it to a few friends to try, too.

Well it was alright but i think it needed more sauce. I did add some milk but it just didnt work for me. I think if i make this again i will be sure to make it a little saucier. But the shrimp did taste really good.

I made this for dinner this evening, following the recipe as written. I found it to be disgusting. The flavor of the vinaigrette overpowered the delicate flavor of the shrimp, giving the entire sauce a "perfume" taste. Dinner companion said, "I'ts edible, I guess." Definately not worth the time or the money to make this.

I just loved this! It was incredibly easy to make & tasted decadent. Just as good as at the restaurants. My fiance's complaint was it was too rich, although I did not agree. However he said he would want it again!

Seemed like it needed a little something...maybe I'll use herbed cream cheese next time. It was very good though. I'll definitely make it again.

fast simple meal for two. I added a salad ,steamed carrots, french bread and had a nice simple meal for valentine's day. The clean up was easy, too.

Makes too much for two, I think, but other than that very good. I used dried oregano & basil in place of the fresh basil. Using an herbed cream cheese might eliminate need for other spices.
