What You Need

3/4

cup PLANTERS Chopped Pecans

1/2

cup (1 stick) butter, divided

1/3

cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

1/2

cup sugar

tsp. ground cinnamon

cans (12 oz. each) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cut into 20 cubes

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

SPRINKLE nuts onto bottom of 12-cup fluted pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray. Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in small microwaveable bowl. Stir in syrup; drizzle over nuts in pan.

MELT remaining butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish. Separate dough into 20 biscuits; flatten each to 1/4-inch thickness. Roll cream cheese cubes in cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated; place 1 in center of each biscuit. Gather up sides of dough to enclose filling; press edges together to seal. Roll each into ball; dip top in remaining butter, then in cinnamon sugar. Arrange half the balls, cinnamon sugar-sides up, in prepared pan. Repeat with remaining balls to form second layer. Top with any remaining butter and cinnamon sugar.

BAKE 30 min. or until golden brown. Cool 1 min. in pan; invert onto serving plate. Remove pan. Top buns with any remaining nuts in pan; cool slightly.

I made this recipe for a group of 20 somethings in my church. They couldn't stop eating it. It fed 4. I would say it was about a 35 minute prep time, the first time we made it. But everyone raved about it.

First of all -- when the receipe says Coat Pan Well - do so! The first one I mde stuck badly because I did not spray well on a non-stick pan very well. ANY WHO - This was excellent! I had a little brunch here and served it and it was a huge hit -and my husband has been enjoying the left overs too. I used nuefanctel(sp?) cheese and add a little nutmeg to the sugar and cininnamon. This a a quick, yummy treat!!!

I added a third can of biscuits and used the same amount of cream cheese. My boys loved it!

They are delicious! They are my husband's favorite thing that I make. Personally I would cut the cream cheese down a bit, they were alittle overwhelming, but if you are a cream cheese lover like my husband, these are for you. You won't be able to eat just one!!

People from my church loved this recipe. I thought it was quite good, except the cream cheese was a bit much. Next time I will use less in each ball, or I will beat the cream cheese with some of the cinnamin sugar mixture. Overall, quite tasty!

I don't know why they say one bun per serving because everybody in my family ate at least 3!This was delicious!

Overall this was a good version of one of my favorite breakfasts. I do think that I will cut the amount of cream cheese in half. It was too overwhelming when you bit into it.

When I first made this, it was gone before I even had 1, I have made a few adaptions to this. 1. I used GRAND biscuits, they come in tubes of 8. 2. Flatten the cream cheese with a spoon and place a few chocolate morsels in the middle before sealing. Toffee bits like Heath are great also. 3. Add 1 large jet-puff marshmallow in the middle before sealing. 4. Add a little Nutmeg or anise to the sugar mixture. Overall, OUTSTANDING !

It wasn't bad, but I wanted it to be sweeter. If I did make it again, I'd try to find a way to make it sweeter.
