Italian sausage as part of a smart eating plan? You bet. Pasta, tomatoes, fresh spinach plus melty cheese presents old-world flavor in a new-world dish.

I didn't have the itallian sausage so I substituted regular ground pork sausage and I also drizzled some Itallian salad dressing over the spinach as I wilted it. Excellent flavor, will definitely make this again!

This was good. The tomatoes made it very watery though. I think maybe I will use a different kind next time.

This was a good base recipe. I had to jazz it up quite a bit with several seasonings. I added garlic powder, basil, Italian seasoning, minced onion, and red pepper flakes. It was very good after all of that. I will make again with my additions.

This was wonderful! My family loved it! My husband is going to fix it at the next scout camp-out in the scoutmaster cook-off.

We are health conscious so I used chicken Italian sausage, reduced fat mozzeralla, and whole grain penne but our whole family loved this! It is so fast and easy to make which is great for the working woman!

This is an excellent recipe. The "and dressing" in the "ADD" step is most certainly a typo. I used 100% whole wheat penne and Italian Turkey sausage. Also I used about 1/2 the cheese that was listed. My family loved this!! Even my five year old ate it.

Very good but, next time I think that I will use ground beef versus the Italian sausage.

I think the "dressing" in the magazine was a misprint. However, if you're going to add some dressing, I think a little Balsamic Vineagrette might be good. It always adds a little something to tomatoes and spinach.

this is a quick meal and is a nice and lite change from the other pasta meals
