What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate

3/4

cup butter

cups sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

cups flour

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S White Chocolate

Assorted Valentine sprinkles

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MICROWAVE unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour; mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour or until dough is stiff.

SHAPE dough into 30 (2-inch) balls; insert lollipop stick into each ball. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 8 min. or just until firm. (Do not overbake.) Let stand on baking sheets 1 min.; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.

MELT white chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over lollipops. Decorate with sprinkles. Let stand until chocolate is firm.

My first batch in the oven was a fiasco. Here are my steps for fixing the cookies. I 1" balls instead of 2" and baked on a dark pan for 12 minutes and a shiny silver pan for 17 minutes. I also had to bake for children who do not like chocolate so I used white chocolate instead of dark, it worked out great with the same baking times and the cookies were very tasty.

These chocolate lollipops turned out SIMPLY ADORABLE!! I had to tweak a few things because I did not have all ingredients on hand. Instead of butter I used margarine and instead of unsweetened chocolate I used Bakers semi-sweet. I also believe that the type of pan you use makes all the difference! They turned out perfect. I wrapped each in plastic wrap and tied with a heart ribbon. A big hit at school!! Thanks

Mine went flat also. I made with margerine. Next time will use real butter, hope it works. Drizzle takes practice.

Again, I made for my husband's co Relay For Life bake sale/auction. I made about 40 of them. displayed real pretty in baskets with shredded paper. To small plastic baskets with 8 in each went for $15 each, big wicker basket with about 20 in there raised $35. Now I have one of the winners wanting me to share the receipe. Couldn't do the drizzle, so I cover the entire center and decorated. Would like to know how to drizzle. I had a big drop.

I made these tonight and they spread out into 6 inch pancakes... The flavor is good, but I can't use tham for my son's class. I would really like to see this recipie work, but I have no idea what I did wrong.

This recipe is great for kids. I made this for a birthday treat for my daughter. Great novelty and taste is very good. Great chocolate aroma. I followed the recipe closely but omitted the sprinkles and left the batter in the refrigerator longer than an hour as I was busy with something else. Also I cut the dough in half multiple times to get 32 equal portions.

This is the same recipe that had inconsistant results in the holiday magazine. This time the refidgeration time is longer. I made them twice. The first time I had great results with the cookies I baked on my dark tray, the cookies on the shiny aluminum tray spread too much. The second time I only used the dark tray and they still spread too much. They tasted good, but they never would have been able to stand up on a stick.

Usually unless it specifies self rising, I always use all purpose. That's what I'd use for this recipe.

I love you Kraft.....you always come up with the neatest recipes. Will definitely be using these for Valentine's day treats for my grandchildren, and know they will just love them.
